Madeval is a family-owned business in Ecuador, established in 1975, exporting to the USA since 2011. We are dedicated to the design, production, and installation of cabinets for different home spaces such as kitchens, closets, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and more. Here is a quick view of our custom cabinetry process and what to expect when choosing Madeval!

Customer Journey

1. Identify needs

• • In our first meeting with a client or trade professional, we will gather all the information that you’re able to give us. This will help us understand your needs and wants and to explain our process and lead time.
  • Focus on your inspiration and how we will make it become a reality. All your resources will be an aid to understanding your concept—this might include mood boards, online collections, publications, pictures, or anything else that you would like to share with us.
  • At this early stage, we will need your architectural plans or a means to contact your architect in order to get these plans.

2. First design proposal

• • In this phase, we will show you our portrayal of your vision with a preliminary design by our experienced staff, displaying a selection of colors and materials.
  • Our designers will invite you into the showroom to present your kitchen design with 3D visuals of the space. This presentation includes a full price quote for each material. At this stage, we can make any changes that you wish.

3. Second design proposal

• • With a better understanding of your vision, we will present to you all the changes discussed in the first proposal with a new budget.
  • This will shape a better image of your final customized product with your unique details and is the last step before our final design.

4. Final design complimentary meeting

• • At this stage, you will decide if Madeval is a good fit for your needs and take a last look at the design to see if it meets your ideal vision.

5. Signed contract

• • Officially choose Madeval as your vendor.

6. Site visit measurements

• • Since our cabinetry and furniture are customized to the exact millimeter, personnel from Madeval will take measurements on your site to make sure the design on paper becomes a reality in the space.
  • That way all the cabinets will fit perfectly and present a harmonious design once installed.
  • We will take into account important factors such as electricity supply, plumbing, mechanical availability at your location, and anything else that is needed for your vision to become a reality.

7. Final approval and signature for production

• • It is important at this step that we have the best communication possible to ensure that all your preferred appliances, countertops, and finishes are taken into account before approving your final design.
  • We will meet one last time to inform you of important details regarding our process and installation before we send your vision to the creation team at our production plant.

8. Final drawings need to be signed by client/builder

• • In this phase, our Ecuadorian production plant manufactures your cabinets, ensuring the construction meets all of your design specifications down to the very last detail.

10. Pre-installation inspection

• • We will visit your site again to make sure that all the electrical, water, and plumbing points are ready before installation.

11. Dispatch, delivery, and furniture installation

• • We coordinate a delivery date of the cabinets and schedule installation so you can coordinate with your other vendors’ specific times.

12. Signature of delivery certificate

• • Our installation process is finished once we transform your vision into a reality in your space. With more than 45 years of experience, we can continue to serve you by advising you to have yearly maintenance by our Madeval personnel so your custom cabinetry looks new.
